Can't play the 1 or 2, Ok. Can't play the 4 or 5, Ok. Thing is, he has swing man written all over him. He's tall enough and quick enough to get up to cause problems down low. He's quick enough and long enough to be a meanace on the perimeter.

He'll get stronger and he has the handle to play the 3.

disagree

brewer is a great ball handler for his height and he shoots very well

the kid has done nothing but win and win large 2 years in a row

i think strength(beef) is overrated in the nba

i think too much weight slows these types of ballplayers down

physical condition is crucial but i think the bench pressing aspect of it is overated, after all, hoop is a non contact sport right?

I disagree.

I think he's a legit top 10 pick, but he has a serious lack of body strength which could cripple him in the pros. He can't play the four or five in the NBA, because he doesn't have the frame to do it, and he isn't a great ball handler which takes him out of the 1 or 2 positions.

Meeeh you couldn't be more wrong. Solid ball handler, damn good strength for his body frame. Yeah he's pretty lanky at something like 6'8 185, but he can hold his own. Point is he's a great player, and a pretty nice 2 way player a that. His athleticism makes up for some of the strength he's missing out on. He's really explosive with the ball, great leaper, good rebounder, and is a pretty nice shot blocker for a swingman.

If I got the third pick and I was the Milwaukee Bucks, theres no way I'm passing on Brewer. Williams/Redd/Brewer/Villaneueva/Bogut with Bell off the bench could be one of the best starting lineups in the East.

Maybe in the NCAA, but do you see him being able to guard 6'10 250 pound fowards? He has to put on some upper body strength before he can play with bigger people. Otherwise, he'll just get pushed around.

I like Brewer, but he's got to get stronger, before he becomes a star.

Over Wright?

Wright won't fit in on that team. He's too much of a 4/5, and they've got Bogut, Villanueva, Skinner and Patterson.

And he wouldn't need to guard "6'10" 250 pound forwards" because he's a swingman and not a 4/5.

When you think of him think of Gerald Green kinda. Green's 6'7-6'8 and he doesn't need to defend big guys. Brewer is an oversized, versatile, 2 way swingman. He'll be guarding other 2s and 3s and not the Tim Duncans and Kevin Garnetts.

He could give two guards a fit with his athleticism and length. Plus, he seems to have a knack for being able to sneak away from his man and knock a ball away from another.
