-The story of African American coaches in the SB (It's a nice little fact but the media acted like it was the first man on the moon. They also kept talking about how it gives hope to kids who say "Maybe I can do that too"...Nobody dreams of being an NFL head coach...nobody).

Extremely well said. It was worth being touched on, no doubt...but the media acted like this Superbowl was Rosa Parks v. Harriet Tubman.

IMO' date=' i don't think Peyton was the MVP of that game. I seriously think it shoulda gone to either Addai, or Rhodes. They were the wheels on that offense. and wouldn't have gone anywhere much, if it wasn't for them.[/quote']

I thought it should've gone to the kid that returned the INT for the TD. Bob Sanders made a case too... forced fumble and an INT...

They ran for 190+ yds and Manning had time to find open routes all game. That O-Line was the MVP in my book.

Manning could have thrown 8 picks and no tds and if they won he was going to get the MVP. Everyone has been on there knees sucking this guy off for two weeks. From all the storys on him finally making it, you would have thought he was on the team by himself.

BTW how do you think Edge was feeling watching the Colts finally win without him why he was playing with his pud smoking a blunt in AZ?LOL

I know that Brady does theres no denying that. But atleast his team got some credit. It was all about Manning this week tho. And I was just saying that in any way shape or form if the Colts won he was going to be MVP no matter what. The media was foaming at the mouth hoping they would win so they could talk about Manning finally getting over the hump like it was owed to him. Nothing was owed to him, he didn't make the SB the other years because he played like s*** in the PO. He played like s*** in most of the PO games this yr but his team carried him, not the other way around.

I heard a lot about Indy's defense leading into this game, particularly Bob Sanders.

There was also the question of whether or not Vinatieri would decide another Super Bowl.

Of course Manning is going to be mentioned a lot. No one (maybe besides Patriots fans) wanted him to be Dan Marino II, and he's the best player on Indianapolis. He's also their starting quarterback.

When the Patriots were in the playoffs, all i kept hearing was "You can never count out Brady and Belichick. Brady and Belichick cannot be underestimated. Brady and Belichick gave each other reach-arounds 15 minutes before kickoff."

Brady's great, but I think Manning's a better all around QB. Bill Belichick didn't invent the game of football, but you coulda been fooled if you heard the media wash his balls this offseason too.

In short, it's really not a big deal, I'm glad Manning got his championship, and the Patriots are gay.

You know, I'm not a racist in no way shape or form, but I'm seriously tired of hearing how Dungy is the first African American to win, and how this is a turning point in the world, and blah blah blah. Tony won because he's a good guy, and because he's a strong Christian. But stop playin' the race card like there's nothing else to talk about.

If his race doesn't contribute to his coaching ability, why does his religion?

I'm not saying I disagree with you, but you aren't very consistent there.

At least Peyton Manning put up considerable stats for the MVP award because even if he threw 6 picks and had a passer rating of -20, you knew he was gona win it anyway.

Thats because theyre two thirds of the Patriots most valuable assets along with Scott Pioli. However, I agree, sometimes they do overplay Brady's postseason play. When really it's the defense that has been the backbone of this dynasty, and then Brady can finish it off in the final two minutes.

I'm trying to say that I think his Christian beliefs gave him a lot of patience, and was a good moral figure to his players, which also gave his players patience. I guess I didn't explain it at all. But IMO seeing how he lost his son last year would have ended it for a lot of coaches, but because of his strong faith, it didn't stop him.

Hell can i edit my F-en name?

hahahaha, speaking of blasphemy, i was talking about an artwork that looked like a type of resurrection scene. The lights were beaming down on the ground and all that good stuff. So i said man, lookin' at this i feel like Jesus, and then outta no where some guy just went off on me saying i was being very offensive, and I was speaking Blasphemy.

But no seriously, can i change my name some how?? I think i'm gonna take a 2 month break from this site, and come back a more educated poster.

W/e' date=' the Colts can laugh now, but we get to laugh next month. (27 million cap space, 5 mill for the Colts)[/quote']

id rather laugh now , who knows whats gonna happen in a year .. and btw now that the colts finnaly won it the pressure is off their back so lookout for next year they will be tough to beat . Also do you realize that the colts didn't even play their A game at all troughout the playoffs and they still won .. yeah i wouldn't be laughing at all right now if i was the pats
