A: All baseball fans! I love the Sb because it is a big party and a fun game to watch. But it is the official season change of sports. Hockey isnt big anymore. Basketball isnt very big either. NASCAR is big in the middle of the US, but not up here for the most part. Golf is good to watch, in the highlights. Our country revolves around football and baseball. And one football season ends, it will be baseball all day and all night. Finally, the long winter is nearing a close.

I know the Bears will win. Dr. Z picked the Colts in SI a couple of weeks ago. The only thing that guy is good at picking is his nose.

As a follow-up to my thought I'll steal a line from The Kilo. Deadspin is a winner at life....

 

Grossman's intercepted... I couldn't even begin to explain what Grossman was thinking on that throw. It was a spiral... that's about the best thing you can say for it. It was like it was his goal to put as much arc on it as possible.

Dungy deserves it and as much as I hate to say it...so does Manning. They've always been a few inches away for the past 5 years and they finally made it so hats off to them and hopefully we can kick their ass next year.

2 things that I'm glad to say I won't be hearing for a while:

 

-The "feel good" New Orleans Saints story (Overplayed..Doesn't bring back the lives of the people who actually lost their lives in the tragedy and it doesn't rebuild the houses that were destroyed).

-The story of African American coaches in the SB (It's a nice little fact but the media acted like it was the first man on the moon. They also kept talking about how it gives hope to kids who say "Maybe I can do that too"...Nobody dreams of being an NFL head coach...nobody).
