Obrien is excellent, he worked for the Marlins for a few years before he joined ESPN and i am sure the fact that he is Bostonian didn't hurt him in getting this job.

trupiano is boston radio. I lived in Beantown for a little while and listened to sox games. He was annoying a bit, but he was the sox on the radio. It will be weird hearing someone that doesnt have that squeaky quality to him.

Dave O'Brien is the guy on ESPN who works with Rick Sutcliffe I believe. He called the World Cup. I am actually shocked he is leaving his job. He is ESPN's top notch baseball guy. He is much better than Trupiano, and as long as they keep Joe C. around, I'm good. I don't live in the Boston area, so I have XM, and the radio broadcasters are a big deal to me.

my bad.
Comon Jackson, pick it up. We'll tolerate poor quality posts from our brethren Red Sox fans, but Yankee fans with a patter of poor quality posts will be abused.

I am VERY hungover right now. Give me a bit. I have a pizza coming, once that comes, I should straighten out.

His greatest call

Swing and a drive, deep to right, way back...and this ball is...gone!

Jump on his back, fellas, the Red Sox win!
