I'm really not beat up on not signing Borowski. Face it, he's not that good.

 

The upside of a Gagne or a Dotel is much better than the mediocrity you'd get out of Borowski.

Well, in a market where a guy like Jamie Walker gets 12 mil for being a LOOGY, then i really can't blame the FO for lack of movement on that part.

 

I'm assuming they think relief help is coming in a Manny trade/any other subsequent trades that happen.

General manager Mark Shapiro also has had talks with agents for Keith Foulke, Octavio Dotel and Greg Gagne.

 

never heard of this Greg Gagne guy, but he seems like he might be a good pickup
