Belliard is a FA. Loretta is a LaRussa type of player but he's on the decline defensively. Belliard is younger, has a bit more power, & is superior defensively. The Cards also already have Aaron Miles on their roster for near league minimum. Odds are they wouldn't be looking in Loretta's direction.

He has much better range than Loretta. Its not even close. Loretta has awful range and is very overrated defensively.

Durham is a FA. He can't be traded.
