Bosox; To get back for minute to the minor league free agents, the Blue Jays signed one of the better free agents RHP Jean Machi who played in the Tampa system in 06 a reliever signed with Toronto mainly because they offer a ML contract and a 40 man roster spot.

Guys thanks for answering my questions, as I live on the west coast I never get to see the kids play. I guess I figured that the answer to my question about Beazley and Large would be "stuff". Still, it has to be frustrating for these guys to go out and perform at level A, and then be told "you can't go any farther because we don't think you can". I guess that's just the business.

Scaff, I think you mean SS Kyle Gilligan? He is one I'd like to see come on board.

What are your thoughts on Foreman? When they signed him I read an article (here for those who haven't had a chance) which highly praised his bat, and I haven't read anything to contradict that estimation since.

Bosox; You're correct i guess i left the G out. In regards to Foreman i guess you meant when they drafted him because he hasn't signed and is a draft and follow candidate. Foreman has good size about 6-0 220 and with very good speed for his size about 6.85 for the 60 yards with very good power potential, however i have heard that he is on the raw side, so lets see how he does in his first year of JC, the Sox have until about a week before the draft to sign him if they don't and don't re draft him they loose the rights to him.

The Pawsox look like a fairly decent team. They have a good core of players on their roster and I really like the fact that Kottaras is going to be playing with the Pawsox next year. I've heard that the Sox may want to bring him onto the big league roster in 2008 to backup Varitek. Another move that I would love to see as I really like this guy I think he's a great prospect who is going to break out and be a good solid big league catcher. I can't wait to see what he does next season.
