I see Sox edging out the Jays for 2nd place, barely. Only things working out for them over the next 5 games is strength of schedule, & Schilling/Beckett combo will make their last starts vs Tampa Bay.

i think Beckett has finally adjusted to the AL, and that we can expect to see a huge change in 07. I think it would be sick if the FO could get Oswalt though for some insurence

Oswalts just signed a 5 years/$75 million extension a month ago. I think its safe to say that Oswalt is off the market, but I am expecting the Sox to acquire a a very good starting pitcher

We were expecting them to win the AL East this season, pick up good players at the trade deadline, and not fall apart in August, too.
