I don't have a problem with Manny caring about his stats. Honestly, its the least of my concerns. He was probably pissed that his team sucks, his pitching sucks and this team is hopeless while he and Papi are putting up MVP type numbers. I couldn't care less.

I'm watching. Youk doesn't have prototype corner IF power, but he works the pitchers, gets on base a lot and hits lots of LDs. I'll take that with above average D at 1B (3B in the future).

True but the Red Sox could find power at a different position. Youkilis and Lowell are almost mirror images of each other. I would think Willy Mo Pena could develop the power to be a 30 HR hitter. Normally we have a powerful catcher who can hit 20 HRs. Personally I would love to see the Red Sox find a way to get Andreu Jones or Vernon Wells to play CF....that would be some nice added power
