A red Sox Fan's Thoughts on the Sweep

[He Hate Me]

Some guy in a Yankee forum put this classic post up from a Red Sox fansite after the first four games. I know it's easier for me to laugh at it, but I thought you guys might sympathize with him. His level of frustration is about as bad as mine was in 2004 when the NL Fraud pitcher on our staff served up a GS to Johnny...bleh well you know the rest.

Since the Brightside thread has requested no negativity, how about this. Don't come in here with your wishy washy crap about how it isn't over yet, and we're only a few games out of the Wild Card. This is a venting, bitching, pissing and moaning thread, just like we had a few years ago.

 

It's over. It's all over. We just got our asses handed to us this weekend like nothing I have ever seen before. We were out pitched, out hit, out played, out willed, whatever. The Yankees just walked into Fenway and choked the life out of the Boston Red Sox. There wasn't even any enjoyable moments in this series. We got beat that bad.

 

So who's at fault? Plenty of people.

You must be the suckiest piece of suck that ever sucked at managing. You brought in Timlin for the eighth against the Yankees when Papelbon hasn't pitched all series? You idiot. Then after the first two reach, and Lopez puts on Giambi, now you bring in Papelbon to a bases loaded no out situation. So in the end, Papelbon pitched for two innings. You just loaded up the bases first. You pulled Wily Mo Pena for Gabe ****ing Kapler! Die, die, die. You made Youks try to bunt with no one out and two men on. He has never sacrificed in his career (once in AAA) yet you decide to try and give a free out to the greatest closer in history? Then you bring in Hansen? What the high Holy hell are you thinking? **** you.

 

Theo

You cannot build a bullpen my man. You just can't. You suck at it. You're not bad at it, or okay at it. You just suck. I can't even begin to bother with you right now.

 

The offense

Mike Lowell. You suck. Screw your first half. Your OPS is below .650 since the All Star break. Coco, you suck. You're a bust. I dislike you very much right now, and hated the trade from day one. The rest of you, sans Manny and Papi, pick and choose when to show up to a game, and when to completely suck. Suck, suck, suck, suck, suck.

 

Beckett

Guess what? You suck. You're John Wasdin with hype. Eric Milton with a World Series ring. Your entire pitching mentality is to throw hard. If they hit that, try and throw harder. Repeat until you stumble out of the inning while giving up two or three runs. I hate you.

This team sucks. All you bright side people can shove it up your rear because no one's buying this crap. The team was poorly contructed, and after overachieving during the first half, we've been exposed as nothing more than a bunch if poseurs in the second half of the season.

 

This team is light years away from competing. Because of Theo's poor moves we've had to rush Hansen and Lester to the bigs before either of them is ready. That's peachy in Kansas City, but that s*** doesn't fly here. Look at what you're doing to these kids. What the hell?

 

Okay, everyone come in here and add to the complaining. I want to murder someone right now.
