ya and they just got two guys that can help them in mench and cordero for a guy that was going to leave anyways....the wild card is wide open in the NL.

There isn't that much of a drop off between Mench and Lee

 

Mench (320 ab)--.284 avg./.338 obp./.459 slg./12 HR

 

Lee (388 ab)--.286 avg./.347 obp./.549 slg./28 HR

 

avg and obp are about the same, Lee just has more power. Cordero also gives them a nice late inning reliever and maybe closer.
