Age: 21

Born: July 4, 1985

Resides: Stockbridge, GA

Height: 6-5

Weight: 210

Bats: Left

Throws: Left

Drafted: 12th round, 2004

How Acquired: Draft

High School: Henry County HS (GA)

ETA: 2009

Scouting Report: Big athletic lefty with control of three pitches. Fastball tops out in the low 90s, with decent movement. Curveball is smooth, and changeup is deceptive and controlled. A groundball pitcher. Known to have a good pick-off move. Completely dominant against high school competition in 2004. His agent is Scott Boras - Rozier turned down a football scholarship at North Carolina to pitch for the Red Sox. Would have been picked in the first few rounds of the draft if not for rumors he would choose football. Very high ceiling.

Yeah, which ass cheek? Pictures of him in ST showed him reporting to camp sporting about 50 lbs of junk in the trunk. Anyone got any word about what kind of shape he's in now after extended ST? His stats this year are 'meh'. I'd love to see some progress and some sign of a work ethic in this kid.

He has shown no progress at all. His weight might be down a bit since the Sox had him in extended ST for a bit but his stats and perifs are ho hum and basically are nothing special to look at. He doesn't show the dedication one would think. His pitches are also having a tough time even getting into the 90's.
