rsr, who are you rooting for?

As a Federer fan, I really want him to have another crack at Nadal in a grand slam final.

I'm rooting for Gonzo but it looks like he's folding

I dont understand , he broke Tsonga serve's a few times and always had pressure on him but yet he can break the week serving of nadal

Well, like you said, Nadal's serve doesn't have the same power as others, but he has a fantastic kick serve.

And that is the problem with the conditions. Huge break for Gonzalez.

EDIT: Great hold by Gonzalez, but he really got a huge break. He was on the ropes during the third break point, before the bag blew across the court.

I think he is ' date=' I mean look at his play thus far in the tournament his movement is excellent[/quote']

I agree, but it's not like it was the knees that were bothering him. You'd have to admit that it is possible that he aggravated some kind of stomach injury.

Oh man. Terrible miss by Gonzo. I wonder if that was the wind...

EDIT: And Gonzo breaks right back.

EDIT: Dammit. They said another shower was coming, but it's really too bad it had to come in the middle of a tiebreaker.

When does this start back up?

They're saying they might have a window starting a 2 PM, but they really don't know. It's raining pretty good here in NY.

For what it's worth, there is no guarantee that the conclusion of the Nadal-Gonzalez match will be televised. They are likely going to play it at the same time as Williams-Clijsters, if it ever gets started today.

It'll be on USOpen.com

S. Williams went a little nuts... I could not believe it when i saw it. Wow! how old are we?

Unbelievable what happened. I'll say this though. It doesn't excuse her behavior in any way, but being called for a foot fault in that spot...

Unfortunately, there is a good chance that she would not have been the only player on tour who would have reacted that way. Obviously it's a moot point because it was her, and no one else. It was just a really bad situation all together.

Haha, well, I'm a huge tennis fan, but I'm trying my best to watch everything. Unfortunately I'm going to miss Federer's match with the Giants playing at 4:15.
