I have a funny feeling because of what happend to Franworth on Sunday Torre decided to pass over him. I hope Fransworth is hurt because this was THE worst decision by Torre all year long.

According to Fransworth he could have pitched. I dont get it. If you could have pitched whats the point of telling Torre your back "locked up". I dont get it.

I'm guessing Joe didn't like what he saw on Sunday and figured Proctor was the better choice. Kyle probably would have blown it too though. Not really anyone I trust in the pen other than Mo and somewhat Villone.

 

But who cares, still knocked off two on the magic number countdown and if we win tomorrow, it's forgotten.

Farnsworth is usually a crapshoot, but if he has decent rest, (would have been 2 days in this case), he can be leaps and bounds better then Proctor. Proctor has been great for them this year, but if Farnsworth has that 98 MPH fastball with the sharp 90 MPH slider he is the guy you want out there outside of Mo.

 

As for his back locking up, it seems like there was a little confusion between him and Joe. At least yesterday was a productive day in the standings.

Yanks take final game of the 3 game series 6-4. RJ pitched well for most of the game, and A rod busted out of his slump.

What about Luke Hudson k'ing Abreu and Giambalco to end the 7th. Games rarely turn on 1 call. Witht the talent differential between the Royals and the yankees, you should have no complaints if you had to spot them a run or two.

What a terrible call by the ump. I really hope KC goes on to score 6 more runs so that is not the deciding call of the game. Awful call.

I'd like the game to be called fairly and that's their job. I don't care if how different the two teams are.
