Jose Reyes became the first player this year to do it when he got a single in the 8th inning tonight.

 

Since theres a NO-NO thread, thought i would start this thread up.

Nice post. Interesting to see who all has had a cycle before. I watched the whole game and was quite ticked when the Mets blew the lead with 2 outs in the 9th. Nice night for Reyes though.

I was just looking thorugh the list and saw John Olerud's name twice!

 

He did it on September 11th, 1997 with the Mets and on June 16th, 2001 with the Mariners. Probably the most shocking thing I saw while skimming through the names.

You should probably wait until the hitter has three hits, or completes two of the harder legs of the cycle (triple, HR)
