Lester isn't getting a wide zone tonight (fair but not wide) and he is just making them look stupid! He is getting ahead of every batter--i think the last 5 or 6 batters facing him have been down 0-2!

Lester's next start is Tuesday, game 1 vs the Mets. He will be opposed by Aaron Soler, 3rd in his first 4 starts that he faces off against another rookie

Yea I didn't know it was that high. Gotta get him out of there. If he does go back out, it should be only until he allows a baserunner.

 

Oh, and, if the bullpen comes in and f***s this game up for him, I'm proposing we get a caravan and head to the respective reliever's home and sodomize his wife before ending his life. Who's with me?

He's just hit 100 pitches. That's probably it for him. 10 k's! Holy crap! I hope everyone finally agrees with me that this kid is the goods.:D

 

Everyone was already on board even before he was called up. I do recall you saying in the offseason that youd be surprised if he got a call up this year, he needed to be traded to get Dontrelle, and the spring training stats were a sign of possible troubles against major league hitters :dunno:
