Really good win for the sox today especially with clement on the hill. it was much needed considering the sox likely didn't want to go into NY on a losing note and anytime you can get a win with clement on the hill you will take it.

Though there was some bad talk about the 7,8,9 in the lineup, I think they pulled through well enough. same with Clement i guess. good win today.

With Schilling and Beckett going for the Sox in this series, we should at LEAST split with the Yanks. Anything less would be a bit of disappointment, in my mind.

We have to beat the Yankees while they're hurt. If we take any less than 2 in the Bronx (which, in my mind is a disappointment and failure for the series in and of itself), we set the tone for the rest of the season when all their players are healthy again. They scare me enough with what they've been doing with the patchwork team, and I'm not exactly looking forward to the amount of success they can have when everyone's healed. If we don't beat this team that they field at least 3 times in the next 4 days, it's a disappointment. We will get toyed with once everyone is healthy again for them if we can't even beat the back ups (for the most part). Make their pitchers beat us, their bats shouldn't.
