IMO, Pauley's more then a AA pitcher.

He's going to be sent down once Timlin is activated. The Red Sox are not going to DFA Clement for a hope and a prayer with a AAA guy. Tito said today that Pauley is not ready to make 20 starts at the ML level.

No way the sox DFA Clement, on this we agree. Oh well, seems like Pauley's future depends on Lester's.

The kid might be a good ML pitcher someday, but the FO doesn't think he is ready, and they are not going to eat Clement's contract on a gamble that Pauley can fill his spot.

If Pauley gives us 3-4 more quality starts I would eat some of Clements contract to get a a good prospect( SS ) in return.
