Ha, that Cano play was exactly the one that I was talking about, he looks like he really doesn't give a s*** in the field.

He's had a number of good plays in the field. And I do believe he will start connecting with the bat consistently soon. Yeah Ive haten the clutch hits he has given Boston thus far, f***ing disapointment he has been indeed.

I haven't seen Loretta make a single play this year that couldn't be made by any average defensive second baseman in the league. We got him for his bat, and he's not hitting. He doesn't look like he even TRIES in the field, that's what gets me. Even if you can't make a clean play on a ball, show some freaking effort. That ball hit by Cano, if he could have just dove and gotten in front of it and kept it from making it's way into the outfield, he would have saved a run.

Am I the only one annoyed by Gregg with two 'g's?

Its one of those names that's bothered me since this kid Gregg in middle school got stuck next to me in art class. He snorted when he laughed.

I just laughed out loud at that. I feel the same way about the name Todd.

EAsy inning, Beckett still isnt Striking out anybody though, I think I expected more punchouts and they will probally come when he figures out AL batters

I was thinking the exact opposite...it's Tek calling the pitches, and he knows AL hitters better than anyone else I can think of. I'd say the advantage is definitely in the pitchers favor for first time at-bats.

The sox should reaquire, Todd Walker, the sox had their best Offensive season when he was in the lineup

right now the cubs value him high because he has taken over for the injured Derrek Lee, cubs would want high prospect in return.

Ah never mind I guess, doesnt matter what I say because everybody's about to run Loretta over with a bus after 1 month

I'm not running him over just yet...

I just have the keys to the bus in hand and I'm about to leave the house... :D

Because when all a guy does is deliver a clutch RBI against the Yankees, a walk off homer, and then ground into a double play in the third inning of a game against the Blue Jays, hes hopeless.

Could Lorreta reboud, sure but what if he doesnt we will need another 2 hitter maybe Youk? but then that kills the bottom of the Order having a guy like Walker would be huge for this team if Lorreta doesnt come around. (Walker probally isnt avilable anyways)

I'm not saying he's NEVER had a big hit...but I'd really be curious to see his stats this year with RISP...or in the late innings of a game...etc.

If you give ANY big leaguer enough at bats in big situations, he's obviously going to get a hit or two...but someone like Loretta should be farrrr more consistent than he has been. Then again, we got Mirabelli back, so it's basically like we traded Bard, Meredith, and some cash for Loretta, which doesn't look like too bad of a deal...

He hasnt shown me much at all this season. face it he is 34 some ball players just fall off the map at that age. Dont get me wrong I would love to see him turn it around
