The bats were dead and Wake struggled. This team just cant seem to get anything going when this guy is on the mound but then again he hasn't really pitched that great this year either. I'm hoping that Beckett can pitch well tommorow and the bats can do something for him.

Let's try and relax. I am frustrated with Bard as well, but let's not forget that it was very tough when belli first started catching wake. Let's give him a little more time before calling for his head! I have faith that he will come around.

even without bard's passed balls last night, it still wouldve been a loss. So also the Sox offense really have to start backing up Wake, he deserves better than 6 runs of support in his first 5 starts of the year.
