Ok i am stuck watching the cleveland broadcast---which is better than most! However how many times do we need to see the triple and the homerun---they keep replaying it everytime they come up!

Loretta had a big injury last yr and some people may not want to face the fact that the guy may not have it anymore. He's starting to age and he has received a major injury to a vital part of his hitting apparatus. Shoulders and elbows are killers for pitchers, while hands and wrists are killers of hitters. BTW, his lack of power last yr and thus far this season could mean that he isnt fully healed and may not be...

I'm sure you haven't been watching since the Sox are usually on at the same time as the Yanks, but Loretta has been roping the ball lately, but it's just been right at people. Yeah, the stat sheet doesn't look good for him right now, but I'm not worried about him based on what I've seen.

Agree. He's gotten a hit in 7 of his last 8 anyways. No need to be worried at all.

Assuming Schilling is done, his start was kind of a mixed bag.

6 IP, 7 H, 4 ER, 8 K, 1 BB

Not great, but not horrible. Everyone has an off day. He had a great K vs. BB outing, but just one too many hits. He at least has kept us in the game.

I just don't want Schilling to get saddled with the loss.

I think that he pitched pretty well tonight. The Guardians deserve credit, becuase they hit some good pitches. That coupled with the fact that the ump has squeezed him makes for a tough night! He won't get the loss though!
