Blackmon can be had in the 3rd to 4th round. He doesn't really stand out as anything. He played both reciever and corner but did not stand out at either.

Doesnt stand out at anything? Kid is probably the 2nd best kick returner in the draft behind Devin Hester.

Dillion's done. He averaged a paltry 3.4 yards a carry last year. He was as agile as Chris Reeve was. They may draft a linebacker round one, then a RB round two, but whatever order it's in, they need a RB, badly.

I won't argue that they need a RB they do but they won't take one in round 1 as defense is what they are likely to draft.

KR's aren't drafted in the first 2 rounds. His skills as a WR and DB are not anything special outside of being a very good KR he really doesn't deserve to go above the 3rd round.

Haha, did I argue about your proposed draft position? No. You said "he didnt stand out at anything" and I said that he stood out as one of the top 2 KRs in the nation. I knew that he would be going in the 3-4 round range, I never doubted you on that fact. Jesus why do you always try to change the argument that someone makes?

anyone see the Globes mock draft today? They have reggie going all the way down to 7th and they have the pats pick up center Nick Mangold. 2 things that absolutely will not happen. Bush wont go lower than 4 and the Pats will almost certainly pick up either a DB, RB, WR or LB with their first pick.

I will be sick if the Pats take Mangold. We don't need another OL this early. Granted both Koppen and Light are coming off injuries but this is way too early to get and OL when there are a ton of other needs.

I read in USA Today's writers draft that all but one writer think the pats are picking someone but the name slipped my mine. the other guy picked Kamerion ?.

LB--Manny Lawson, Bobby Carpenter, Kamerion Wimbley

CB--Antonio Cromartie, Jimmy Williams, Tye Hill

WR--Chad Jackson, Santonio Holmes

RB--Lendale White, DeAngelo Williams

id be happy if the pats take anyone of those guys, but knowing the pats and bill belicheck, they could take anyone.

I actually think D'Brickashaw was the right pick. I've felt Leinart is overrated for quite some time. When you play with the best O-Line and best skill position talent in college, then you are going to look like a hell of a QB. Don't get me wrong, I think Leinart is a good player, but not as good as his hype.

Matt Leinart to the desert! New stadium! I hope the Cardinals do well.

MGB will be more into football now.

I'm predicting a 9-7 finish for the Cards.

Dont mean to change the topic but just wanted to get this out there. I think D'Brickashaw was a good pick, but as a big Leinart fan I feel horible for him that he fell to 10. This guy would have probably went #1 last year, but now he gets stuck going 10. I will definately be pulling for him and the Cards. Woulda been nice to see him in Green and White. Whatever though.

11 Defensive players off the board, 3 QB's 1RB and 1OL. Seems to be more value left on the offensive side of the ball. Still impossible to guess what the pats are going to do.

Chad Jackson

Deangelo Willaims

Santonio Holmes

Bobby Carpenter

Just a few guesses

I really wish i had the time to follow football like i do baseball. I love it like I do baseball. It seems to me like the Pats could wait a couple rounds on a WR just because they've got Branch and are deep at TE. To me, RB or Defense makes the most sense but you can find guys in rounds 2 and 3 who can play good defense and if a guy like Landale White or Williams is around I would go for them first.

Very shocking that they selected Maroney

No, it isn't.

Corey Dillion is on the wrong side of 30, and looked absolutely horrible last year. The Patriots need a RB they can pass the torch to. Maroney, is a pretty good fit.
