I would give it too but thats not what would hold a deal up. Would the Bills trade him in the division to the Patriots and how much of a paycut is Moulds willing to take. Those are two huge questions.

The Patriots' preseason opponents were announced by the NFL today.

The team will play road preseason games against the Atlanta Falcons and the New York Giants. The team will host preseason games against the Arizona Cardinals and Washington Redskins.

The Patriots' game against Atlanta is Friday, Aug. 11 and will be televised by CBS (8 p.m. ET).

The team's game against Arizona is Saturday, Aug. 19 and will be televised by the NFL Network (8 p.m. ET)

The date and times of the Giants and Redskins games have yet to be determined.

This means a previous report that indicated the Patriots would travel to St. Louis in the preseason was incorrect.

That's actually far easier then last season, the schedule I mean. I meanw e afce the Cols once, and really the only two competitive games are against the Bengals and Broncos. As for teh signings it's a wash IMO, nothin impressive.

If Martin Gramatica can be the Martin Gramatica of old, then that's not a "wash" signing. That guy can boot the ball if need be. Tebucky Jones, yeah whatever. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a big deal trying to be worked out with Dillon or whatnot. We shall see.

Even though these signings aren't great, we have seen time and time again turn mediocre players into great ones. I'm excited to see what will happen.

Hey you know, Gramatica was a former pro-bowler with the Bucs. Maybe this could be one of those great under the radar signings the Pats have been known for in recent past. Worth a shot to have him compete for the job this July

Everyone has under the radar signings... the only reason the you hear it from the Pats is because Brady is the only star. People need something to talk about... and to leave you with something about Gramatica. How sure are you with a kicked that has a career line of 43 for 71 on field goals past 39 yards. Thats even in a warm weather climate. Houston now is about as far under the radar as you can get. He was over shadowed by Nugent but is average to ok kicker.

Ok... I said is that he's worth a shot to compete for a job this july, not saying he's a sure bet to be a great kicker for us. Way to contradict there

Observations from the Patriots’ rookie minicamp practice on Saturday afternoon:

* Receiver Chad Jackson made a positive first impression, catching everything thrown his way and making a few difficult grabs on high-thrown balls and one over the middle. Forced to pick one player who stood out from this practice, the answer would be Jackson.

* Players wore shorts, jerseys (no pads) and helmets for the indoor practice.

* There was a lot of work on pass-catching and running back Laurence Maroney and tight end David Thomas were consistent in hauling in throws from Corey Bramlet (the only QB in camp). Thomas made one very nice grab on a long crossing route, and Maroney outran outside linebacker Jeremy Mincey to snare a long touchdown toss.

* Tight end Garrett Mills wasn’t as consistent, with a few tough passes bouncing off his hands.

* Kicker Steve Gostkowski showed solid leg strength while booting kickoffs. He consistently was kicking the ball from one end zone to the other end zone in the 80-yard practice bubble.

* It was difficult to gauge the speed of all the players, but Maroney, Jackson and Thomas all gained separation when needed, and looked the part. Maroney looks fast.

* Six players were in for tryouts, including Holy Cross running back Steve Silva.

good to hear that Jackson's looking good

They won't resign Law at the money he wants but that doesn't mean they won't bring him back into the fold. He is going to find that not many teams are going to pay what he is asking for and will eventually bring his price down.

pretty sure thats 53. This is a complete guess and is guaranteed to have something wrong with it. There are over 80 players trying working with the team, almost all of which could make the team by opening day. This year will be tough to make cuts.

Yahoo--

A league source said that the Broncos have been associated with another veteran running back – T.J. Duckett of the Atlanta Falcons – as part of a potential three-team trade. The deal would also send Broncos wide receiver Ashley Lelie to the New England Patriots, while Denver would receive Patriots tight end Daniel Graham and Duckett. The Falcons would receive undisclosed draft choices from both teams.

that trade would be fine with me if we dont give up a high round pick

Duckett sucks against every team in football, except the TB Buccaneers. The Bucs should send a pick to all three teams, so I never have to see his fat ass again.

Deion Branch skipped voluntary passing camp something he has not previously skipped. I can see him missing mini camp as well in a possible hold out for a new contract.
