I will say one more thing about Kobe Bryant...

Those tights that he, and a few others, wear beneath their shorts are inexcusable.

A disgrace to the male race.

HAHAHAHAHAHA what in the hell makes him an arrogant jackass??

What doesn't make him one?

The fact that he destroyed the best dynasty in the NBA at the current time?

The fact that he critized Shaq for being overweight, when he himself was admist in a trial. (Did anyone see Shaq take a shot at him for that?)

The fact that he actually thought he could lead the Lakers to a championship, without a domiant second option.

He's got an ego problem. Everyone knows that. Well, except you. You have an exception though.

i still don't think kobe ripped that dynasty apart... why in the world would Dr. Bus listen to Kobe... Bus knew what he was doing... I think Jerry was looking towards the future, and Shaq was getting to old

Trading for Lamar Odom is looking toward the future? Sounds like a terrible excuse from a Kobe sympathizer.

Buss would listen to Kobe, because Kobe would have opted out of his contract and signed with the Clippers. Sounds like good leverage to me.

He would still have shaq, a team with shaq is a Championship calibur team

Kobe was only 26, Shaq was 32. That's why Buss would go with Kobe over Shaq.

That's not the point though, the point is that Kobe should have shut up, played basketball, and kept the dynasty together.

It's cute how people act like Shaq had nothing to do with that whole falling out. Sure, Kobe would have opted out of his contract, but Shaq's the one who demanded to be traded. What's the f***ing difference?

If Kobe kept his mouth shut and played basketball, Shaq would have never asked to be traded? Pretty simple.

If Shaq had kept his shut, Kobe never would've mentioned the possibly of opting out of his contract. Like I said, it's cute that you guys think Shaq never said or did anything wrong.

Yeah thats one of the thing I hate most about the NBA is all the s*** the players wear. Some have tights on their arms ... on one arm ... on their legs ... on one leg ... s*** around their wrists ... around their knees ... around their arms ... and head bands ... f*** heads bands. Stop trying to be a f***ing fashion designer and play bball.

Kobe attacked Shaq. All Shaq did was merely fire back. Can anyone still believe Kobe called out Shaq when he was on trial for sexual assault? I think it's "cute" how someone can actually think Kobe Bryant is a stand up guy. On second thought, no, it's not. It's more like pathetic. How can you guys stand rooting for the most egotisical jackass on the face of the planet? Oh, because he's "raw" and "clean".

Pure ignorance right there. Kobe Bryant wanted to be the number one guy in LA. He didn't want Shaq taking points away from him. So, why wouldn't Kobe opt out?

Please show me where I said Kobe is a 'stand up' guy. Until you do that, then you have absolutely nothing. Just out of curiosity, was he proven guilty for Sexual Assault or did that case never even make it to trial? Oh yes, I recall, now. That case reaked of somebody trying benefit off of his celebrity.

Of course. Shaq's a saint. Nevermind the fact that he complained about not getting enough touches in the Finals against the Pistons. Nevermind the fact that he complained about not getting enough touches in last years playoffs.

Who won the finals? I think he was right to complain.

So every time a player loses, it gives him the right to complain about his teammates and what they did wrong that caused them to lose (ie. the Lakers not getting Shaq the ball)? I don't believe that should be the case. Besides, I don't remember T.O. getting much positive press for calling out McNabb -- they did lose, so wasn't he justified?

edit: I should add that Shaq was being defended by the best defensive big man in the league, and I believe, that years Defensive Player of the Year.

No not every time, but if a player hogging the ball costs you a championship then yeah I dont have a problem with Shaq saying that. They asked him what went wrong ... he was honest. If you don't want to hear Shaq say that he should have got the ball more then don't blame Shaq ... blame the reporter for asking the question.

But Shaq's the most dominant player in the NBA. He should get the ball the most, granted I don't agree with complaining about it, but he does that and thats his thing and hes been pretty successful winning three rings.
