Kind of funny. Eli gets a boatload of hype and lives up to it in the regular season, but is flopping in his first playoff game. Chris Simms gets a boatload of hype, fails to perform in his regular season chances (until the end of this year), but plays well in his first playoff game (both his picks yesterday were tipped at the line).

Told ya Eli won't win a playoff game for a few years. Giants are cooked.

Hey, nice picks by the way. You, shillingouttheks, and I are looking pretty sweet if Pittsburg can make Palmer's playoff debut look like Eli's.

And that dropped TD pass was an absolutely beautiful throw -- as good as you'll ever see.

Awful game on both sides of the ball for the Giants.

That's pass interference. He wasn't going to for the ball, he purposely ran into him and pretended to trip.

Oh well, I'll take a 20 point lead. Looks like it's score 3 for the good guys soon :D

20-0 Carolina.

Wow, Colbert got ass-raped on that play. The DB had his back to the ball, how was there no flag there?

Yup. Usually in making my picks I wing it, but I actually did some research before the games this time, so far it's paid off.

Boy it's nice to see the Jets in the playoffs this year. I swear that's Brooks Bollinger in a blue Manning Jersey on the meadowlands field.

I'd say, that out of the three games so far the Pats were clearly the most dominent on both sides of the ball.

I don't know, I'd take the Panthers in that regard. Jacksonville was able to move the ball -- the Giants can't do ANYTHING.

Well, the Giants can thank Eli for that. He's just plain sucking, and threw ANOTHER PICK.

Go home Eli. You f***ing suck.

If the Giants were even able to sniff the Panther's side of the field, I'd agree with you. The Jags were able to threaten the endzone a couple of times last night, but the Giants would be better served punting on first down at this point.

Yet another pick. Ugly, ugly performance.

And if I have to see another Patriots Visa, Pepsi, or Coors Light commercial, I'm shooting myself in the head.

True, but it is that the Pantners D is that good, or that the Giants suck so bad on offense specifically Manning.

True, but the Jaguars D was playing with some disabilities too.

For instance, if Mike Peterson wasn't in a cast, Ben Watson doesn't score that one TD!

If Tom Brady doesn't have an off-night, Watson wouldn't have needed to catch that short pass :D

Haha I kid.

For the Jaguars D---woulda', coulda', shoulda'

In football its all about if you are able to capitalize on the other team's follies or mistakes. Something that the Patriots are known for doing.

Side note here, this caught me by surprise when I was at rotoworld

The Chargers nearly fired Marty Schottenheimer last week.

FoxSports.com's Jay Glazer reported the news. There has been a lot of talk in New York that Chargers GM A.J. Smith and Schottenheimer don't get along, so the Jets may offer draft picks in order to acquire him. It's hard to believe Schottenheimer would want to make such a move, but Smith holds the cards here.

I'm not trying to take anything away from the Pats, but when comparing dominance in the two games, just look at the total yards.

Pats 307 vs. Jags 292

Panthers 338 vs. Giants 119 - with 2:00 left in the game

True, but still. The Giants D-line is good, but they don't have Stroud or Henderson right up the middle to shut down the running game. They have Strahan as an end to keep contain but he's not really meant to be a run stopper.

And also...the Panthers recover a fumble. This is a joke.

Pure dominance today by Carolina. Clicking on all sides of the ball. I think they looked much better than the Patriots did last night, and I think they will beat Chicago next week. That being said the Giants shouldn't of even bothered showing up today. The missing tackles were awful, Tiki was extremely disappointing as I don't believe he had a run longer than 8 or so. Plaxico had 0 catches, and Eli Manning did nothing but throw it to McCree and Lucas. I expected more from the Giants than this, but I'm sure everyone did.
