I don't think it was a horrible spot. I do think Cowher challenges that play if there was no PI call. Randle El caught it, came down with control, landed on his back with the ball in the endzone, and then it was stripped out by the defender as he was in his back. Nantz and Simms said they wouldn't get it because it was like the play in the TB/WAS game, but I think it was different since the defender popped the ball loose after he was on the ground.

I remember a play like that a few years ago against the Dolphins. Brady threw the ball to like Troy Brown or someone (maybe Branch? I dunno, I forget who...) except that Brady caught the ball for like a 1st down and a 15 yard gain

Doesn't matter to me We're the Pats, we know how to win in the playoffs with whoever we have, against whoever we play. Also, I'm a strong believer in that you shouldn't care about who you play next or who you would rather beat, because if you're gunna win the Superbowl, you have to beat everyone. You can't beat someone, you shouldn't try to win the Superbowl.
