Report: Giles re-signs with Padres

According to mlbtraderumors.com Giles has agreed to a 3yr/$34mil contract with the Padres. They say that Kevin Towers sent an appology to Giles' agent and a deal was struck quickly.

Crosby wasnt that bad in CF was he? I remember he and Shef running into each other in the ALDS but not much more than that.

Crosby is actually a decent OF.

 

His performance in 2005 was impressive, at least in my opinion. He was good down the stretch (.327 BA in September) and played the field well. I wouldn't mind having him as an everyday player.
