Heat won't make the playoffs. Will get hit by the injury bug

Are you serious? This might be a top 10 (or bottom 10) post from you Suns, and considering who we're talking about here, that's saying a lot.

Wont make the playoffs? Is this serious? I mean I could see them not being the #1 seed, but not making the playoffs? Thats a stretch.

Anyway I'm excited for Thursday, I cant wait to see John Wall's debut.

This is much more likely than the Heat missing the playoffs.

I'm perfectly fine with that happening, especially if Wizards win.

Lol Suns only saying the Heat won't make the playoffs because LeBron is with them. He's part of the "I hate Lebron James for leaving crew". I can tell you don't watch basketball outside of Cleveland.

I actually hope the Celtics beat the Heat. I'm from Miami so I can't call them bandwagons but I remember after 2006 no one cared for the heat. Now that they have the big three they think there going to be invincible. I want them to be proven wrong.

I want the Heat to win the championship and decimate the league in the process. All the ridiculous hate they're getting (especially LeBron, but as a team too), all the hilarious denial of how awesome of a team they are, all the idiotic speeches about selfishness, taking the high road, class, and that fluff garbage, I just want the clueless naysayers to get even more of a wad in their panties, and think up some more excuses.

Their fans have every right to think the team is invincible, LeBron won 127 games in two years with a garbage supporting cast, and now he has Wade and Bosh on his team. Even if one of the three went down for the season with an injury, they're still serious title contenders. Hell, even if both Wade and Bosh and went down for extended periods, what's left to support LeBron is pretty much as good as what he had in Cleveland and won 60+ games with.

False. Heat have been getting no hate. As a matter of fact the Heat are probably the favorite of the East this year. It's all LeBron. Especially since he made his decision live on ESPN. That really pissed many people off even more.

I think that most of the hatred is directed towards Lebron for a multitude of reasons, but some hatred is being directed to the (Miami) fans, which have been pretty intolerable for months.

I'm not even a Celtics fan, but I'm hoping that the Celtics double the Heat tonight.

I don't mind the Heat, I just hate a lot of Heat fans (who have become worse than Red Sox fans after 2007, or Celtics fans when they got Allen and Garnett in 2008)

The Heat fans have talked so much s*** when they haven't done a damn thing other than open their wallets. There isn't a bigger definition of bandwagon fans.

And while my Spurs a**-pounded the Cavs in 2007 so I obviously don't hate Lebron for competitive purposes, I can't believe he wasted people's time and emotions by giving himself an hour special to tell everyone where he was going to sign. Even Kanye West was saying, "damn, that guy has a huge ego."

While I do agree that the Heat have gained more fans there is no way they have the most bandwagons. I can name plenty other teams. So you want the Heat to lose because their fans have been talking s***? I really haven't heard much except for the fact that fans automatically assume the Heat will win the NBA Championship. LeBron has been all hype even before "The Decision" on ESPN. I don't think that was the right thing to do but that's just me.

I'm not saying that they have the most bandwagon fans, nor am I saying that most of their fans are bandwagon fans. What I am saying is that there have been a lot of "pure" bandwagon Miami fans that have annoyed the crap out of me for the past few months.

Just because they're the favorite doesn't mean they aren't getting s*** from all directions for taking the easy road or some other trash.

It's a lock for them to win the east. The thought of the Celtics trying to guard the Heat is hilariously terrifying, as is the thought of them getting through the Heat defense. If that series got to 6 games, it would be a miracle. If they won, the planet would shatter. The Magic do have Dwight Howard, but unless he plans on scoring 40-50 with 25-30 rebounds every (I mean every) time out I don't see how they'll pull it off, since everyone else on the team will be on total lockdown.

Only the Lakers have a chance, which I think they'll capitalize on this year. Then the NBA belongs to the Heat for the foreseeable future. Celtics fans are bummed that this is likely the last go-round and the chance of them winning it this year is very very slim, but probably not a bad time to enter a rebuilding phase.

But them together is going to make everyone step up and try to knock them off there high horse. i expect it to be very physical.

Well yeah I mean the Heat probably have a little hate but it all falls on LeBron.

It doesn't matter if the other team's motivated or whatever. When has that ever made a difference? LeBron James won 127 games in 2 seasons with a supporting cast that was just bad. Now he's got Wade and Bosh on his team. If one of those guys went down for the season, Heat are still in the top 2 for title contention. Not to mention that the cast outside of those THREE is probably better than what LeBron had in Cleveland.

Unless they let their guard down, there isn't any possible way about 20 of the league's teams can beat them. Of the other ten, everyone but the Lakers has to hope that they have their A++ game and the Heat are playing their C game, at best.

So if they stay relatively healthy, what do you think their record is going to be this year?
