but yea, despite the fact that I have always liked the Cardinals, the last 2 NLCS' I have been rooting against them in favor of Roger and Andy. And with Andy on the mound tomorrow, being the big game pitcher he is I expect them to take it away.

Go stros. The astros deserve it. I think this is going to be their best chance to win it all. Pettie is healthy. Roger... well you know, and oswalt is doing fantastic. The killer B's are kicking some major ass and the cardinals are just falling in key games again.

Wow, an Astros-White Sox World Series to me would be very uneventfull.. I wouldn't care who won... like the Cardinals I really don't want to win for statistical purposes...The Braves I didn't want to win...cuz I don't like them, same for the Angels and Red Sox.

 

But I guess if someone had to win in that match-up I'd say WhiteSox, their due

Christ... that game took so much out of me. Damn Albert Pujols! How do you not win it with a two run lead, two outs, bases empty and two strikes on a guy in the ninth at home? If there isn't a curse, there should definitely be one considered.

I don't understand why everyone in America isn't behind the Stros. Who cares about Clemens and Pettite. Biggio deserves a ring more than anyone in the game right now, and this is probably going to be his last shot. I'm not nessicarily cheering for any team, but if someone has to win I want it to be the stros.

I wanted to see that homer from Pujols, I kind of felt that one coming when Eck had that single (similar to how I felt when Jeter had the single in Game 5, but I digress). Pujols' shot was one of the longest I've seen.

 

I said it when the announcers were saying "Expect him to only throw sliders to Pujols in this at bat". You go after him with the fastball, at least keep him honest early in the count. Like Tim McCarver said before Jim Leyritz hit a big homerun in 1996 "If you're going to get beat, you want to get beat on your best pitch, not your third best pitch." Lidge set himself up for failure right there.
