The Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Clippers have been discussing a trade that would send Celtics swingman Paul Pierce to the Clippers for swingman Corey Maggette, sources told ProBasketballNews.com late Sunday.

For the Celtics to even be considering this, is beyond my mind. Re-stating what Michael Holley said this morning on WEEI, If I had season tickets I would give them up if the C's did this. So what if it financially benefits Boston? It doesn't benefit the team on the court.

I would like to see this move. Being a Knicks fan it would be nice to get Pierce out of the division. And being the Clippers fan that I am (yes, I do root for the Clips as my Western Conference team) it would be great to get Pierce out there. Despite the fact that I like Maggette very much, I say go for it Clips.

NO. If Pierce leaves, I will be very unhappy. But Maggette is still a great player and wouldnt mind him on this team at all.
