how was that a decent outing for a game that we absolutely need to have? i know you can never tell what kind of game your gonna get from wake, and yes i am aware he was one of our better pitchers in the rotation-but you throw out all stats in an elimination game...

it is when you run into better pitching and cannot rely on your offense to bail you out. goddamit! it may not be his fault the team is down 0-2, but this isn't the kind of dominant game you need from starter to set the tone.

I don't think giving up 4 runs is all that bad... then again, maybe I'm just an idiot for expecting the best lineup in baseball to score runs. What an embarassing performance by the defending Champs... in this game, and in this series.

Yea your right, I mean 4 runs to a team that put up 5 the previous game and 14 the first game that really blows. He made the one bad pitch to Konerko, which cost us the lead. It wasnt great it wast horrible it was decent.

you can't honestly expect me to believe chicago's pitching is that dominant....
