The ChiSox are up 5-2 in the 9th. If they win their lead goes to 3 games with 4 to play. Another win by them and loss by Cleveland tomorrow makes the 3 game series in Cleveland meaningless to them. Which may give the Tribe a few cheap wins. Not good for WC contenders coming out of the AL east.

DiNardo helped keep the Sox in the game, def a viable option if by some chance sox make it to late october. i hope offense gets something going--they havent really been runs crazy in a bit at Fenway in awhile now

After tonight, they will still have a 2 game lead for HF over the Yankees if they both win, with 4 to play. Once they have the division wrapped up, they will be trying to set the rotation for the playoffs, and I'm sure resting those that need it will be on their minds too.
