Except Papelbon has exceptional stuff, power pitcher, pontential # 1 guy, I dont see Wang as a #1 guy

I see wang as a #3 starter.

Now Philip Hughes, that's a different story. ;)

Harville has some decent breaking stuff. I would have liked to see him face Jeter in 6th instead of Bradford.

Bradford has an ERA in the mid 2's, isnt he a better option in that situtation?

Agreed, but if anyone is going to get to Mo it's the Sox.

No, I dont think so it seems he has had his yearly rough week in August, he's back to normal. You'll have to do it against Gordon.

Don't forget about Anibal Sanchez, who had a really good year until his last three starts. He's young so I think he may have been showing the effects of his first really long season.

Clay Buchholz and Michael Bowden are both very young and have a lot of upside.

The farm is deep with good pitching, but we need to get some more promising position players.

I don't think it has anything to do with his rough week. I think we've still got his number.

I heard Sanchez had some arm problems.

Eeven when he strikes out 5 of 6 batters in three days, then gets out of a bases loaded 0 out jam without giving up a run, all in Fenway?

He should have been shut down two weeks ago. I've heard the same thing about Hughes, who was shut down.

Do you think Pedrioa is going to be the second baseman next year

He will be given every chance to get the job in spring training.

if sox are to lose, it would be from the breakdown of the pitching in the 7th inning--Plus Sox have left 10 men on base

Well I think Damon's error let things get out of hand.

Likewise, Aaron Small would have a shutout if it wasnt for Matt Lawton's crappy fielding
