Why Can't Renteria Play Defense

Unless I'm mistaken, there are rather loud grumblings that Renteria is secretly nursing a back problem, but doesn't want to sound like he's complaining about it. You don't just go from steller defense to worst fielding SS in the league... I would tend to believe a hidden injury has something to do with it.

that is true, baseball players have the biggest pride (IMO Johnny Damon, Keith Foulke, Mat Mantei, Wade Miller) who play through pain instead because tehy dont want to miss out on anything and help their team

sometimes, they act like they want to help out their team, and play with pain but end up hurting the team because their preformance is sub par.

 

Pride is deadly sin for a reason...Foulke has done more damage this season than just about anyone...

 

he doesnt deserve be on that list at all. IMO

god he played through his pain because he had pride he didnt want to tell anyone which means hed end up missing time, i wasnt f***ing praising him
