Red Sox Ticket Giveaway

Hey fellow baseball fans. This is a giveaway of tickets to the World Champion Red Sox. The reason for this is to have fun and celebrate the end of the summer and the start of the Fall.

Some of you have questioned my motives. Well it's pretty simple, I've blessed by knowing and gettting help in my younger year's and I try to do the same, when I can. It's a cliche I know, but what goes around comes around. So, here goes :

 

The rules :

 

(1) You Must be a TalkSox member by 8/18/05.

(2) You must be able to use the tickets.

(3) Make a brief post stating why you should win ( preferred dates in multiple ).

(4) You must respond to winner's notification post within 24 hrs by Private Message with your name and address ( we're under somewhat of a time constraint here, I want to make sure tickets get to you and are not wasted ). Otherwise, they will go to someone else in the drawing.

 

The Drawing :

 

The drawing will be random by me. I will make tokens ( name stuck on coins ) and draw from a bowl. I think that the fairest way ( no personalities involved ). I, and my family aren't eligable. Each drawing will have it's own date and cut-off dates. The reason that I say each, is because there will be more than one giveaway. I will try and have some Regional Drawings, so that as many of you can have a chance to benefit. Sorry, Texas and some of the west coast folks, but the remainng schedule will not allow me to accomadate you ( maybe post season or next year ).

 

This is going to be posted in the general Forum of Contests / Prizes. I don't know how to get multiple contest to show on the main page ( if it can be done ). The problem is every time there's a post the other (s) will go back into the general forum and not be seen. I don't want to clog up Talk Sox or the General Baseball threads. So you're going to have to look in the Contests / Prizes for each drawing. Maybe, one of the Mods can pin / sticky this thread as a directive or move as appropiate. Have fun and enjoy.

I'm very happy I joined this site. I was looking for people to webchat with about the sox during games. I've got that, plus more. I hope to meet some other talksox.comer's at the game!
