Mark Hendrickson reminds me of the Pats Mark Henderson who cleared the field for the a game winning kick against Miami. Maybe he'll come through. Nice to see Rem. finally contribute.

What about Rodney? Coughed up the game-tying homer yesterday, got the same guy to hit into a game-ending DP, under more pressure presumably, because he just blew a game to the same hitter yesterday.

I'm not saying that Ortiz is not clutch. What I'm saying is that even clutch sometimes fail totally with the game on the line.

Ehh. I'm not worried. Wells can do that sometimes, I mean when he's hungover.. But the pen pitched ok. Tony G had a worse day than Millar at the plate.

 

 

We saved the pen for the Angels - which is, in my opinion, the biggest thing.

How's Schilling doing? Honestly, if you want to start the debate Mariano vs. Schilling...I'd be more than glad to take part in that one. All Mariano did yesterday was give up a double (at best), someone in the stands turned it into a HR.

 

no thanks we have giambi who is decent enough. We atleast have good hitters so we dont need ortiz, in the other hand you dont have anyone in that bullpen thats better than Aaron Small.

I'm not a kid and the Sox haven't been rolling over the D-Rays last time I checked.

1. remlinger pitched great thru 1 2/3 innings

2. Millar got on base

3. Edgar went 3-5, with 2 doubles.

4. Johnny O is back.

5. Bullpen is saved for Anaheim like RSR Said.

6. Wells settled down after getting rocked in the 1st

Red Sox Lose. A Yankees win tonite pulls them to within 3.5 games tonite. If sox lose the 4-game series this weekend @ LAA and Yanks win 3-game series @ Podsednik-less Chisox, Yanks could be tied for first by Monday with 40 games to go.
