I wonder what our record is since our good friend gabe kapler came back to the sox.

He is friggin amazing.

when he gets a chance to play he brings it.

never a complaint in the papers about playing time, always the first guy up the steps to cheer, gutty fielding..the clutch hit, speed on the bases.

He's the man. You cant understate the importance of having guys like this in the dugout.

I'm all for Gabe Kapler getting more playing time and Millar getting less. I know Gabe can't play first, but there's absolutely no reason why Millar should play right field with Kapler in the fold. NONE.

Considering Gabe got robbed last night of a homer.... he's already got half as many homers as Millar, despite the fact that he doesn't get enough playing time.

yeah I saw it, and I thought it was a pleasant change to the usual 6 or 7 hops that come on a millar toss when he ooozes (lol) into right.

gabe tracks down fly balls and makes hard catches look routine..millar makews the easiest play look like a circus catch.man, I laugh when I see kevin dive for anything.

But since I am neither opinionated or negative, I'll say this: kapler is a great addition to this year's team.

Lets not get crazy here, he's a tremendous glove no doubt about that but he's not that great a hitter. You guys remember when he first came to the Sox. The first game he played he went 3 for 4 with a single, double, and triple, then went 3-4 the next day with a homer and two singles. Everyone was tihnking, who is this guy and why didn't we call him up earlier. He pretty much fell off the map as far as the bat goes after that. This situation is very similar to that. All I'm saying is don't think he's going to carry on like this for the rest of the season.

That first to third play which also allowed Damon to advance to second made me really happy to have Gabe on the team. He's like Trot Nixon, only less annoying. He gives it his all and is always there to make the smart play.
