It's been tough living in that hole!

My dad's friend was in Boston for the game last night, 10 rows from the Boston bench. I'll be at the Garden tonight (maybe) to see them against the Devils. I'm not 10 rows back though, something closer to 10,000 rows back. I think I may be sitting next to John Davidson in the announcer's booth.

Tom Renney took over as coach shortly before last season ended, and ran a very successful training camp. He's one of the leading candidates for coach of the year, he has done an outstanding job getting them working hard every night. They aren't the most talented team in the league, but most nights they work the hardest and that's how they've been winning.

nah its going to be senators head coach.
Sens were supposed to be good. The Rangers were being picked 37th in the 30 team league, and are in 4th place due in large part to the coaching.

It'll be interesting to see if Renney goes to Henrik again, it would be his 4th in 6 nights. He won defensive player of the week and has been playing out of his mind all year.

I have a feeling that Weekes will be in nets, giving a huge advantage to the Sabres.

Good game tonight, Sabres win 2-1.

If not for Lundqvist, it would have been more like 6-1.

Now Sabres and Rangers are tied for 4th place, but Sabres have a game in hand and 2 more wins.

We saw 2 of the Rising stars tonight in goal in Miller and Lundqvist.

I could swear this is the Bruins thread...

Bruins are playing so well now. I dont really get this team at all...

4 points out of the playoffs. Big win tonight against Atlanta. They still need some offensive help. I heard there might be a chance of trading Leetch for Jason Allison. Good deal for the B's since Alberts and Jurcina are playing well.

yeah do that allison will get injured in his first shift.

i wouldn't make that trade. the D was their weak point to begin with. they need both hannu and raycroft to get healthy ASAP and then trade raycroft for scoring help.

allison is on pace for 70 points this year, more than anyone else on the bruins is on pace for. Hes only had 1 minor injury this year, something with his finger. Leetch is old and hasnt played well this year.

I wouldnt mind trading raycroft either, but since hes been so bad this year, i dont think there would be an equal enough trade for him.

The bruins are 4pts. out of the playoffs. Which equals 2 games not 4.

not updated as NJ won and got 2 points, Tampa lost, Atlanta lost, Montreal and Toronto didnt play and the Bruins got 2 points. Those are the teams id say are most important to the B's right now.

O yea tim thomas is nasty. The bruins have 3 decent goalies now. They should trade raycroft for a defensemen. The bruins still need to pass toronto and montreal for the 8th spot.

Yea it doesnt have tonights games in it. Its just to show what teams in close in the race so people have an idea of what the playoff picture vould look like. Wane primeau has really played well in the last couple of games. He scored 2 goals against the caps.
Posted
hopefully the bruins will be closer to the playoffs by the time i go to montreal in february to see the bruins-habs game

toronto and montreal have really been struggling lately
