Cruz wasn't even doing horribly, I mean s***, the guy only had 12 at-bats with the team but it does look like Mueller might be out for at least the next little while if they actually went as far as DFAing a guy to get Youk back up

I'd just like to point out that I like the job Gonzalez did tonight. He came in in a tough situation and got out of it and gave us a decent 2 2/3 innings

My hope is this. And it may just happen...

I pray, PRAY FOULKE COMES BACK. Stick Schilling in the rotation (after Wells or Clement), Stick Gonzo in Miller's spot in the rotation, stick Miller on the DL and sign him for a million for next year. Arroyo who would have gone to the pen is the #4. The long spot in the pen goes to Paplebon. Delcarmen stays in the pen.

But it all starts with Foulke...

In the Yankee game:

A-Rod cheated again. Did you guys see that play in the 5th inning? After Jermaine Dye made the catch, he threw the ball to 1B to try to double up Sheffield. But apparently, A-Rod was there to "break up" the play. Kinda reminds you of the '78 WS, when Reggie Jackson interfered.

just something ive noticed recently, but havent gotten around to bringing it up, i noticed Gonzalez is wearing 54, now correct me if im wrong please, but i recall him wearing 32 earlier in the year because Halama had 54. If im wrong about 32, please tell me what other numbers he has worn this year.

he was just running back to the dugout....wasnt intentional

....or maybe it was, but i doubt it, did look like he slowed down his jogging as the throw was coming in so that the throw wouldnt be behind him, but I doubt he did it on purpose, but if he did, great...its not cheating, its part of the game, we werent penalized for it or anything. Its just smart baseball as far as im concerned (if it was intentional)
