I got some questions for some Yankee fans on this site, now this only is for the people who post on the YES network, or have critized the Yankees badly this year. (Red Sox fans may comment on this as well)

1. How could you ever question, or insult Joe Torre? I've seen at least 10,000 different threads on how bad Joe Torre is as a manager, ranging from, "Why no Tanyon" (when he had thrown 45 pitches the previous night, to "How could Torre use Groom against two righties" (When they were switch hitters, who can't hit lefties) The fact of matter is, Joe Torre won you guys 3 championships in a row, he is probably one of the greatest managers of all time. How could you ever critize that kind of greatness?

2. After Alex Rodriguez hit an RBI single tonight, and he was picked off, Yankee fans proceeded to call A-Rod a fag, a bitch, and OMG A-Fraud u blo!. My question is why? The mother f***er got you a run, and not to mention the fact he's hitting .319 with 27 bombs. If you critize Bubba Crosby, or Kevin Brown that's understandable, but why someone who's producing?

3. Lastly, how could any Yankee fan critize, Derek Jeter (some have), Bernie Williams (a lot have), or Jorge Posada (every single one of you have)?

These guys aren't your problems, your team just isn't that good. They have ZERO starting pitching, and outside of Rivera and Gordon, they have no bullpen. Maybe you should start asking questions to the man who was really behind all of this, but the man you seem to want to have multiple orgies with. Start blaming Steinbrenner.

I think it's kinda pathetic, when a guys like Torre are blamed for things when it isn't his fault, it just proves how pathetic most Yankee fans are.

They are idiots.

Questions awnsered. No need for more replies ;)

They can't say it's just little kids saying that. You got Mike & the Mad Dog wanting Torre gone, and every caller in New York wants him fired too. The Yankees are in year 3 of their 6 year grace period.

This should be interesting to see responses on. I don't think you'll get one until 26 to 6 signs on tomorrow or some other Yankee fan that posts here & can actually talk baseball. There aren't many right now on talksox, atleast.

Sometimes I wonder how the mods over there (YES boards) can let things get so bad. I mean, there's a point you get to where you have to take a stand. You could atleast start by shortening the sigs and banning people for saying stupid things -- edit: that last request on the banning may take too long.

Quote from the Yankee game thread:

speaking of ova..... press 69 if u think Sharapova's hot!

Geez, we put together a better game thread for the Yankees game than they do.

*ding* *ding* *ding*

That would be correct!

I also think a lot of them, but not all of them, are bandwagoners and don't know how to lose -- or don't know how to lose, so they hit the panic button when they do.

More stupid comments regarding what you were talking about crespo:

Um, I don't care about what Brown did.

Torre gave the game away.

Yanks now have to avoid a sweep.

Yep, blame Torre because the bottom of your order was pathetic today. It doesn't get a whole lot better looking at this: Batting Averages- Posada .257, Tino .223, Crosby .226, Giambi .287, and Sheffroids and Jeter are both now under .300 despite Jeter going 4-for-4 and Sheff going 2-for-5 today.

It always winds up in Torre's lap, despite their rotation looking like: Johnson, Moose, Small, Leiter, and Brown. They always seem to blame Torre for the bullpen use (see first post for one reference) they want to see Gordon in the 6th, and just because Rodriguez has a good 8th, they are quick to annoit him F-Rod. (Yet they say that the "Rod" part can only be used for stars, and that Michael Kay secretly is rooting for the Angels, because he calls Frankie Rodriguez, K-Rod)

The YES network is what Yankee nation really looks like, it's quite sad.

Tex, brought up Sean Henn.

It's a good option, it's better then Aaron Small and Al Leiter, but the bad thing about Henn though is that the Yankees won't have any patience with him. They need to learn growning pains, but their Yankee fans, and expect CG 0 H 0 BB's every time out.

Don't you think you spend too much time talking about us? Live and let live, from what I have read in a couple of post it seems you guys enjoy our team, more than yours. Forget about the Yankees and their fan base. Enjoy your world series, haven't you waited long enough. Some Yankee fans have nothing in their heads, so do some Sox fans. Not every single fan blames or critizes Torre, Jeter, Bernie, and the rest of the old guard.

Peace be with you!

Maybe we do spend too much time thinking about New York, JeterWifey, but when Crespo brang it up about Brown, I became curious and am just wondering what Yankee fans opinions on the situation are.

Some don't, and I said that in my first post, but the majority of Yankee fans do. You seem one of the ones, you doesn't, and I commend you for that. I'm just curious to why (the ones who do) any one could critize the "old guard."

^^^ The ones who do are morons, and I am glad that they don't run the team. Sometimes when the team is doing bad, they panic like every fan of a contending team has. It happens and their is no way to explain it.

Well, I for one was surprised that they thought that the Arizona Diamondbacks used a 4-man rotation, in this day-in-age! NO TEAM could get away with that, but again its amazing how they criticize the "old guard" when the "old guard" gave them their championships from 1997-2000 (could be wrong about the dates, dont kill me Jeterwifey ;) )

I won't kill you but it was 96- a bad loss in 97, then 98-00. I love the old guard they know how to win, and are the ones who will always be remembered in my heart. Some Yankee fans just panic, we haven't won since 2000, and to you guys it seems like nothing. But its killing Yankee fans.

1) There is no way you can't have respect for Joe Torre. he is prbt he nly yankee that gets applause at fenway aprk! (Aside from mo who got cheered during opening day but that was different) have you ever seen his Yankeeography? Very enlightening, you learn alot about him as a player, coach and mot importantly a person. he's been through some s***.

2)i'm not big on a-rod. like i have said many times b4, put him on mute and sit him ina corner and he'll be fine!! but you can't take away his talent. he has come through for the team many a times this year. during the texas series i think they mentioned that the team was 15-4 when he homered. but he's been so consistent lately, so when he feels to do something ppl get pissed. he isn't infalable. tho he may think so, but thats just my opinion....

3) Derek Jeter- you'll never hear me say anything bad about that man. i just can't! most hate him b/c of his team but u have to respect his obvious passion for the game. and his talent. ya, there are players better than him, but he is ranked amongst the top players.

Bernie williams- He's a great player, got a lot of respect for him, but he's getting old. Isnt he retiring this year or something?

Po Po- He's a great catcher and when he gets on track, a good hitter. hey everyone has slumps. s*** happens. what can you do? he's been heating up a bit lately tho. But he is doing good behind the plate and that's important. he's one of the best. Tek is my favortie player but sometimes i feel as if PoPo is better. only b/c of the fact that tek has to have his mask off to make any kind of play. where as posada, it don't matter, mask or no mask, he'll make the play. but that's just me.

Geez, I think I just rained on their parade when they said that Moose is startig tomorrow:

Topic: Good News, I swear this is not Geico Related

Post: Mussina is pitching tomarrow and hopefully will show these guys what a starting pitcher looks like, he can hold leads atleast

Me: You left out the fact of who he's facing. On the hill for the Halo's will be Jarrod Washburn who despite only being 6-5, has an ERA .68 less than Moose (3.27) and has given up an average of 1.7 runs per outing since the beginning of June. Last time out against New York, Washburn went 7 IP giving up only 1 ER. Hate to ruin the parade.
