They probably will; everyone else in that division is a pretender or just plain-out floundering.

oh god i agree with ya there, for sure the NL West is really a lowly group of teams--San Diego and Arizona are heading to be only teams in that division at least win over 80 games for the season

The Randa deal actually effects the Sox because he was the other third baseman that the Twins were looking at. Perhaps now they'll be more desperate to get Mueller and pay a higher price.

That would be a bad trade on our part. Lets trade our future third baseman for the one that probably won't resign at the end of this year.

Trading Youkilis, a younger proven play and keep someone who is almost 10 years older then him with bad knees would be the worst move. A horrible one.
