Indians looking for Delucci??

Was watching Wednesday Night Baseball re-run and I heard one of the announcers say that Delucci's name has come up with the Guardians because they would like another solid bat in their OF. No written source, but I heard it on ESPN. So, I guess it goes here. Thoughts? I personally think Delucci could bring a lot to the table for the Guardians, as I watch the game, he has some killer AB's.

Doesn't make sense to me. I thought they traded Gerut to clear up playing time for Crisp, Sizemore, and Blake in the outfield. Dealing for a guy like Delucci only adds to that complication.

Why would the Rangers give up a premier leadoff guy? That would be seriously dumb on their bat, even though they do have a lot of hot bats in that lineup.

Guardians already have that up and coming DH, Travis Haffner who has been having a good season off of sox relief pitchers.

Even though, I don't agree with you often, I will here. Delucci is a great leadoff guy for the Rangers, and unless they got some pitchers in return I doubt Texas would make a move.
