ARLINGTON, Texas (Ticker) - Matt Clement will have a chance to show manager Terry Francona what could have been when the Boston Red Sox take on the Texas Rangers on Wednesday in the rubber match of their three-game set.

In his first season with the Red Sox , Clement (9-2, 3.82 ERA) has anchored the defending champions' pitching staff, which has been without ace Curt Schilling for most of the season while also dealing with the loss of Pedro Martinez via free agency.

Despite Clement's efforts, Francona, who will manage the American League in the All-Star Game in Detroit on Tuesday, chose Bartolo Colon of Anaheim rather than his own righthander for the squad.

One of the factors in Francona's decision may have been watching Clement suffer through his worst loss of the season on Friday, when he surrendered a season-high eight runs in 5 2/3 innings vs. Toronto.

The Rangers counter with Chan Ho Park (8-2, 5.50), who can match his 2002 win total - his best since signing with Texas as a free agent prior to that season - with a victory.

Park allowed two runs and five hits in seven innings to pick up a win at Seattle on Friday.

After closer Keith Foulke gave up two runs in the ninth of Monday's 6-5 loss, the Red Sox bounced back with a 7-4 win on Tuesday. Manny Ramirez belted his 20th career grand slam to move into sole possesion of second place all time and Mike Timlin recorded his second save of the season.

Foulke was back in Boston getting his ailing knees checked out and will not be with the team on Wednesday.

I have a great feeling about tonight.... if Chan Ho Park has given up an average of 5.50 runs per game, and he's up against our offense we should put up a good amount of runs. Key word there, "should".

Yeah, I know.... I probably should have asked first, but I forgot. My bad. I usually ask before I put things on there. (got it from your sig) :looks down embarrassingly:

And that page will be updated soon, sorry.... I've been in Arlington (TX) watching the Sox.

so schilling will be in our bullpen?? that could work in our favor, comin out of the pen towards the end of the game, throwing full force. sounds good. never expected it, but that could work,m especially with foulk having surgery.

It's an audio file of Yeszir having sex with some older woman. It's hillarious. He has no idea we're playing it over talksox while he's out of town.

There you go Bellhorn, don't let Sexton pass you up (pre-game Bellhorn and Sexton were neck and neck with 94 K's to lead the league), that's 2 tonight, keep rackin' 'em up.

I almost missed Millars. I have the MLB.TV package and tonight they are showing the Rangers broadcast. They spent two minutes showing the Kenny Rogers press conference in the middle of an inning.
