You're not even capable of beating Tampa Bay on the road.... how do you expect to win some of those series?

The same way we came into Fenway and took 3 out of 4. Man you just set yourself up for that one. Man you must really be fustrated, hope you can sleep peaceful tonight. See how running your mouth about the Yankees sucking has gotten you. How's that foot taste. Moron!!!

:what: :what:

thats funny coming from a fan of the mighty yanks who the devil rays served their dick on a platter to them ;)Red Sox's record against Tampa this year, 4-2 record including a sweep at home. lets see yankees record against Tampa Bay, huh thats right they got a 7-4 record against you boys. which includes 3 out of 4 in tampa, and 3 out of 4 in yankee stadium. dude youre so full of s***, ya know that right? we got the better schedule, youre just lucky it was 3 out of 4, with the umpires needing glasses last night

Whats more pathetic I guess is that you couldn't touch the guy with a era in the 6's.

Whats more pathetic is that the New York, 200+ Million dollar, Yankees are going to bank on Al Lieter and probably atleast one AAA pitcher down the stretch, and possibly in the playoffs. I'm worried about the Sox pitching, but atleast we have 5 legit MLB starters. I can't imagine any Yankee fan is anything but worried right now. Sure you're playing great now, but pitching wins championships, and you have none. You rotation is RJ, Moose, Lieter, and KB. Chances are KB will be down again within the week, so that leaves you guys with 3, OLD, starters.

I'd worry about your pitching staff, not cracking jokes about how Al Lieter had 1 good game.

Hey guess what s*** happens. It doesn't matter how much they get paid, they're still going to get injured so throw the 200 million dollar crap out the window, it has no meaning here. You want to say it's a pathetic a 200 million dollar team is where it is, I'll give you that, but to say it's pathetic that a 200 million dollar team is injured? Sorry makes no sense. Wang was also young too.

What? You make no sense. I'm not sure what you mean by what you just said?

Whatever. I'm worried about the Yanks as I always have been. They're a good team, with some of the best hitters in the game in their lineup. Their pitching sucks now, but who knows. We need pitching, too.

It almost makes up for all the other blown calls against us the wholse series. The officiating was terrible all around for both teams. Mostly ours. Plus what does it matter if he's safe? No run scores, it's first and 3rd 1 out. Damon grounds sharply to second. I dunno, sounds like a DP to me. Didn't cost you a thing. Bad calls cost us at least 2 runs. The 3-0 strike on bernie was just pathetic.

How much money they make has nothing to do with getting injured. They get paid a lot of money, so now that means they're invincible? Sorry, don't see the connection.

I don't know why you're making such a big deal about being right behind us. We have the most home games left in the majors, and this is what your upcoming schedule looks like:

3 games @ Texas

4 games @ Anaheim

3 games v. Minnesota

3 games v. Anaheim

3 games @ Cleveland

3 games @ Toronto

3 games v. Chicago (White Sox)

4 games v. Texas

3 games @ DADDY tampa bay

3 games @ Chicago (White Sox)

The money thing was just kind of a dig at Georgie and Ca$hMoney. If you could get past that I made a point.

And why are you so defensive about your payroll? Because its 50 times bigger than the Pirates? Just let it go.

Your isn't exactly isn't the smallest in the MLB either so you guys shouldn't really be talking.

true sox are in second in highest paid at $123 million. and the yanks are in a "close" top spot at 208 million and counting...

Counting? We're losing 30 mil in the offseason after bernie retires and brown leaves.

Right, I'm sure that money won't be spend in triplicate.

yes in the offseason, as in after september/october--besides several yanks players' contarcts will be ending this season, such as hideki matsui who of course will be lookin for a nice big check to add on the 2006 roster payroll

It won't add up to 30 mil.

Ok if you want to keep talking about it then ...

MLB TEAM PAYROLL (US$)

1. NY Yankees 205,938,439

2. Boston 121,311,945

84 Million Dollars is quite a bit of difference.

 28. Pittsburgh 38,133,000

Hey look at that ... it's almost exactly as much more as the Red Sox spend than the Pirates. Quick someone tell me how much better The Red Sox are than the Pirates?

Enjoy the victory, but a word to the wise. With all the erroneous predictions you have made in the past, I would not gloat about someone else's mistake there shoe-breath. People living in glass houses should not throw rocks.

I respect your appreciation, but don't tell me what the f*** to do. I think you are an idiot, and I will call you out on it any time I fell like it. I also think you are a disrespectful little s*** hiding behind the safety of your computer screen.

i doubt Bernie retires, id expect him back with a much smaller salary in a bench role

I don't think theres any way George is going to let Bernie come back. He's washed up, and can't play CF anymore. What use would he be to the Yankees? All he would do is eat up a roster spot, and some salary.

arod2212, ahem i have the stats right here for your might yanks.

2005

Sox have outhit 121 - 94

more importantly, sox have outscored yanks 86 - 45 :)
