He's not a cancer if anyone is a cancer its Schill and I would still like him on my team.

OH MY GOD! Please tell me I didn't just read that.... that is hilarious. And I think you can change that sig of yours now, if you want to keep that ridiculous quote from me, I'll dig up the one you said about how the Red Sox can't win on the road right before the Red Sox swept the road series going 6-0.

you said about how the Red Sox can't win on the road right before the Red Sox swept the road series going 6-0.

The Red Sox couldn't win on the road before they swept those two series. Your point?

Posted
My point is that's it's premature to make those kinds of statements, it's June. It's a long year... we have a good enough team to win on the road and we proved that we could.

What a dumb statement. Yes had they not called him out it would have helped his team, thats what cheating is, it helps your team win that doesn't make it not cheating he still broke the rules. he couldn't have knocked Arroyo on his ass because Arroyo was just trying to tag him from his side. Had he tried to bowl over Arroyo he would have been called out for running out of baseline.

You don't care that he tried to do it jsut how he reacted? That's an even dumber statement. A-Rod a member of the New York Yankees blatantly tried to cheat by doing probably what is one of the bitchiest moves I have ever seen in my entire life. That is a blemish on him, his team, and the enrie Organization. He should try to help his team by cheating? No what a real man does is accept that he has been defeated taken the out and sit on the bench where he should be.

No he wouldn't have been called out because Bronson was in the basepath. Itwasn't cheating, it was a reaction that happened in a split second that every one of us would've done the same thing. The only way you can cheat in baseball is steroids or corked bat or greased ball, etc. You can't cheat in the field of play if the umps don't see it it stands. He was out I will admit that, but what he did he took a chance in a split second and it didn't pay off. if it did it was still not a sure thing the Yanks win. Jason, Bonds, Sheff (yet still to be determined cheating in the past.) NOT A-ROD. The only people who said he cheated were people from Boston.

Yes its June and you said the Yanks are out of it. You contradict yourself all the time. We are 5 1/2 games back in June. A lot of clubs wish they could have that. yes Schill is a cancer because he can't keep his fat ass out of the spotlight when he's hurt. He's full of himself and conceded. If he kept his fat ass mouth shut and just rehabed like other players on the DL Iwould have nothing to say.

so schilling is a cancer to the sox cuz hes letting the media know his status on day to day basis? which everybody in the majors is eager to know. him wanting to come back and help his team still shows the strong willed pitcher i saw on game 6, basically forcing game 7 of the series. im thinkin thank god so far for sox not getting pavano, what a difference compared to last season, most hits allowed by any pitcher this season at 120, and already has matched last season's counts of homeruns at 16. Sox must be in his head cuz 2 times we have got to him bad, this season's 17 - 1 blowout--then he was with florida marlins, sox came into town and got a 25 - 8 win. You are just pissed in october he came back from being injured and quieted up your boys
Posted
Nope has nothing to do with last October. He beat us fair and squared. I have never liked him even when he was a Philly. The only people in baseball who care about his return is Boston. No one else gives a s***. Unless its a story for reporters. He just can't stand not having all the attention. Why the hell do you think Pedro left, and don't give me your better off s*** either. I mean he cals in radio shows on a whim to make sure no one forgets he's still around. That's the problem I have with him he's a attention whore who hides behind he's doing it for the team. He's doing it for himself.

no pedro had left boston because the sox were only at the most having a 3 year deal for him because of his age--the mets on the other hand offered him more money on a 4 year deal with a club option for a 5th season... And why would I say we are better off without pedro?? god you act like you know how sox fans think, I for one of many miss the hell out of him

First of all his glove was in the basepath Arroyo himself was standing on the infield grass, trust me it's the background on my computer.

Webster's New World Dictionary - Cheat - Verb - to violate rules deliberately, as in a game

He violated the rules and then said afterwards that he would have done it again given the chance, which shows that he clearly thought about what he was doing, which makes it dedliberate, proving you wrong it was cheating.

Major League Baseball Official Rulebook, Rule 7.09- A runner is called out if...... (k) In running the last half of the distance from home base to first base while the ball is being fielded to first base, he runs outside (to the right of) the three foot line, or inside (to the left of) the foul line and, in the umpire's judgment, interferes with the fielder...

This rule proves that had he run into Arroyo he would have been called out for, guess what, interference. You said he would have been safe had he run into Arroyo, this proves you once again, wrong...

Bow to your Sensi.

Ok, lets get this straight:

1. The reaction we would have all had would be to try to get to first, and if a body is in our way try to dodge it - NOT f***ING SLAP IT LIKE A BITCH

2. Still to be determined? The guy admitted to using the cream ON THE AIR. Case closed.

3. Trying to get away with an illegal action on the field of play is cheating. That includes throwing a spitball, putting pine tar in your glove, or slapping at a glove like a bitch.

First of all there was no curse. If there was you guys would have never have won ast year. The Curse was made up by disapointed Red Sox fans because the Sox had the Atlanta Braves syndrome they choked in the playoffs. If it was a curse then curses don't just say well they suffred enough will lift the curse. I think maybe the owner sold his soul the the devil. Just kidding. The Cubs will win the world series again in the future and all this curse s*** will be long gone. The only reason most Yankees fans bring up the curse because we knew you guys beleived it. Now I'm not niave to say some Yanks fans did'nt beleive in t because they did. But, most fans didn't. I know I'm gonna get s*** for this too, but A-rod is not gay have youseen his wife se's f***ing hot. He's a great baseball player and all of you that say your glad he's not your team is dumb and only make fun of him because he's a Yank. He's not a cancer if anyone is a cancer its Schill and I would still like him on my team.

Actually the curse was "invented" by Shaughnessy writing that stupid book. The fans just starting buying into it.

Jeter believed in the curse... and I quote, "just wait for the ghost to show up... just wait for the ghost to show up..." So trying to make fun of sox fans for buying into it... please look with equal distaste at your captain.

Some of the best moves are the ones you don't make - I NEVER wanted ARod on the team, I REALLY wanted to see the trade fall through when it was being talked about. So I can honestly say to you - I don't want him on my team. At the time I would have rather had Nomar, and right now, I'd rather have Hanley Ramirez waiting to take over and Renteria currently there.

Yeah.
