I was just wondering when your "captain" is going to rally so we (the Red Sox) could have some competition again. I know you enjoy getting beat by your intercity rival and the Devil Rays but let's get it going here. I'm sure hereing "Let's go Mets!" echoing throughout Yankee Stadium because your fans are cheap and leave in the 7th inning when your down by three is fun and all, but stop embarrassing the AL East and leaving it up to DADDY and Baltimore to show how AL East teams are supposed to play.

 

P.S. Of note: the kansas city royals (25-46), new york mets (36-37) & tampa bay devil rays (26-48) in head-to-head games against you are a combined 12-5. Great team leading, Derek. Where are those hits in clutch positions now?

It's not getting full of ourselves, you know what it's about? All of a sudden we have tons of Yankee fans that feel that this is their place to come and talk about Derek Jeter and his accomplishments, and post pictures of his ass and then talk about it. It's sick is what it is.

You've done it but you have also contributed good insightful talk as well so I don't mind you so much. It's tough to be rabid and disrespectful when your team sucks. Up 3-0 in the ALCS after winning your whatever number division in a row and I guarantee ALL Yankee fans act like jackasses. Also, I don't think this is the right place to come so you can make a few posts then advertise your website.

I guess in the end it's not your fault, it's BeanTown33's fault for egging your Yankee friends on. You have made the statement "In all fairness to the Sox fans, there are other Yankee players besides Derek..." I just haven't yet figured out why no one else has read that except for BeanTown33 who followed by posting a picture of A-Rod and Jeter together.

 

After a while -- 278 posts, 19 pages and 2,250 views -- it just gets old and that's all I'm saying. I'm just wondering if talksox.com is really the place for female Yankee fans to come and post pictures of what has represented Yankee dominance for so long. So if everyone can agree that this website is for that and doesn't mind looking at pictures of Jeter followed by thoughts of "he's so hot" then you're welcome here. But I don't know if Sox fans like seeing that.

I wasn't egged on to come to this board. My interest was peeked as to why someone would get so upset over someone posting something about another player from another team hitting a grand slam. But appearantly I forgot, you're not supposed to like any other teams or any other players if you're from a certain place.. It's just not suppose to happen. It not offensive or making anyone upset (the thread about Jeter's HR -- the Tino comment isn't either, the comment fits right in place when it comes to admiring how each player looks great), it's stupid is what it is. You start off with a fine post congratulating Jeter on his first ever career grand slam and it turns into every 3 posts are about how fine Derek Jeter LOOKS.

 

I love other teams and players. The Astros, the A's, the Reds, the Cubs are okay, the Guardians are a fun team to watch, I could go on. As far as players go, I actually made a post about guys from other teams that I love to watch play on my website. And it is a free country, Red Sox fans probably don't like you, Yankee fans I know don't like me... it's the way things are. So as a suggestion, you might want to take your Derek Jeter groupies back over to your site, because as you may have noticed from your 19 page thread full of Yankee "fans", no other Sox fan wants to talk about him.

First of all you need to quit generalizing us. It's not "you" because I'm not on that Jeter bandwagon, I'd really wish you'd get that through your head. And I didn't post anything about Jeter and his grandslam, because to me it was no big feat. And I went through that "Oh my God he's gorgeous" phase, but now I watch the game for the plays, not the players. Not saying the other ladies don't, because I know they do..

 

And as far as Red Sox fans not liking me, it's sad to know they wouldn't like me because of a team that I like and not because it was the type of person I was. Didn't your parents ever teach you to like someone for who they were not for what they liked? And stop grouping all Yankees fans together, we're not all alike. I don't generalize all of the RedSox fans in one catagory, because unlike some, I know not all of them act the same.

 

I guess that's the difference between you and I.. I can talk civily to others, overlooking things about them I may not like and have a conversation without name calling and disrespecting them.. I think that's called being an adult..
