Best Announcer - HAwk Harrelson, of the White Sox. The guy is f***ing hilarious. "WAAAAAAYS BACK! YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOAAAAAAAAAAAAARD.... YES!"

haha i love listening to highlights when that guy announces, he's so funny with that.

uuuh....the polls dont lie dude. If we were just taking revenge against your announcers for our amusement, then the yankees would be doing the same thing for us....except Sox announcers have zero percent of the boring vote...so obviosuly not.

Come on. I've even heard some Yank fans say how much YES announcers suck. It's practically a fact.

and who were the people who took this poll....was it a nationwide poll with a balanced mix of different fans, or at least a balanced mix of Yankee and Red Sox fans?

He played for the sox back in the day.

Michael Kay is the worst, he contradicts himself and thinks the sun sets and rises with Jeter.. Sometimes you wonder if there are any other players on the team..

are you sure we're listening to the same Michael Kay.....he doesnt only talk about Jeter, and if you listen to his radio show you would hear when he rips Jeter for whatever reason (he he deserves ripping)....Kay brings a great perspective and a hometown, bronx born point of view....i think you should consider listening to your hometown broadcaster a little more often....

any of you who think that any NESN broadcaster is better than Jim Kaat needs to order MLB Extra innings, and listen to some more Yankee games...Jim Kaat is an amazing broadcaster who brings great knowledge and prespective to all aspects of the game (ESPECIALLY pitching, which he does a great job evaluating on the air). Ken Singleton is very good, not great but very good. Paul O'neill is a lot of fun to listen to, he'll make you laugh during a game, and Bobby Murcer is just great to listen to, he reminds me of when Scooter did the games. Think of how much better YES would be than it already is if it kept all of the guys who were doing Yankee games on MSG/FOX before YES started, like Al Trautwig, Tim McCarver (who granted is definately, along with Joe Buck, the worst combination in the world to listen to), etc.

ha during the playoffs i muted the tv and put the radio on and listened to castiglione and trupiano. they are really good

i try that, but cant do it for long because its gets too complicated to listen to with the TV delays for live TV nowadays...whats it like a 3 or 4 second delay for baseball...its ridiculous hearing what happens 3 or 4 seconds before it happens...they need to drop Buck and McCarver and put on Lyons and Brenneman (who are without a doubt the most annoying broadcasters on the face of the earth..but still better than Buck and McCarver...i think Deion should dump a bucket of water on him again ;) )

Well I dare you to listen to Remy, not only is he extremely knowledgable about the game but he's funny as hell as well.

I live in the Connecticut I get both NESN and YES, thinking with a compleatly unbiased point of view on the ammount of times I smack my head and say "that was one of the dumbest things I've ever heard" NESN is a lot better than Yes. Kay is the dumbest person alive ok radio show terrible announcer, Katt is pretty good for pitching analysis outside of that he's pretty much useless plus he's a little too old school. SIngleton I think you give wayyyyy too much credit I've never liked him. O'Nieill I actually like a lot, Bobby Murcer is well jsut average at best. Overall NESN > YES.....

I have the top 3 announcers that I really truely hate, #3 Joe Buck #2 Mike Kay and #1.... lets jsut say given the choice to end alll war on earth and strangle Tim McCarver with my bare hands, I would strangle McCarver.

My brother just found a poll that says Yankees announcers are the most boring. haha. The Red Sox are tied with a few others for having some of the best..and they had 0% of the boring vote. I have definitely observed this. Anyone else?

Do you know a link to that poll?

Anyone who broadcasts for ESPN, or Fox. Mainly because their too busy, choking on the Yankees, to actually call the game. I still don't think I'll ever get over how overrated that play Jeter made last year was, and it was all because of the annoncing. The problem with these guys are that they only get excited when the Yankees are doing well. I remember the ALCS last year it sounded like they were almost in tears during the last few innings of game 7.

Whoever the douche bag who does the "Theeeeeeeeeeeeeee Yankees win!" thing after a Yankee win should be shot in the face.

its not like it was an exclusive poll to the state of mass. or anything. anyone could take it.

Rex Hudler and Steve Physioc of the Newport Beach Angels of Santa Ana of Orange County or whatever their name is now. Those f***ers are not boring, but they're certainly annoying. Steve Physioc's drama is almost as bad as Ken Harrelson's homerun and strike out calls. Dickheads.

Joe Buck is Mr. Monotone, and then he sees the Randy Moss thing and he rants about it for the rest of the telecast. I'm not big on Moss, but I still got a chuckle out of it.

Talk about overreaction. Oh yeah, swap personal stories OFF the air, please.
