know this is not new news, i just still admire the fact that boston had signed a long term contract to keep the sox in fenway park till 2030 or so. By that time it will be around 120 years, givin it sound reason to become protected by historical society and become a museum of sorts when the sox do some day move out of fenway.

2030? Where did you hear this. The ownership has expressed interest in keeping the sox at Fenway, sure, but 2030 is a long ways off.

isn't Fenway getting some renovations or more seating at this seasons end?

Yeah. They're gonna knock out the glass in the 409 Club, add more seats around the park, renovate more, etc. They're in it for the long haul, they said, otherwise they wouldn't put all the money into renovating it.

Well, all the renovations will be done by 2012 I believe... so it's just a matter of how long we stay in the ballpark after that.

god first game at fenway of the 2012 season, can ya imagine how hard it will get a ticket for that one. what a great experience that will be, ringin the 100th bday celebration. heres hopin ill have lucj and money to get a chance for that
