Anyone watch the Fab 5 Makeover of the Sox....er, Damon, Belli, Tek, Wake, and Millar? I have to admitt, i sat through the whole episode...wasn't that bad either

I saw the first 10 minutes last night, and some more of it tonight on a repeat showing. It was pretty funny, definitely entertaining... I was laughing.

It was funny how the Sox guys went completely out of their way to show themselves as straight. Wake had the funniest line. That carson guy said something like "You know, some people think you're cute." and Wake replied "Yeah, people like you..."

 

 

I guess it was the delivery, but it was a total insult. Hillarious!

I'm watching a re-run as we speak. It's hilarious. They don't look much different after the make over but they little game was nice for the kids.

Timmys the man, and just goes to show what a team Boston is. The guys were good sports for doing all that makeover s*** and going out of their way for the kids......never seen a Yankee do that.

Just saw it for the first time tonight since I wasn't able to last night. I admit, it was pretty funny. I can't really see why EEI has been making such a huge deal out of some of the things. Some of the humor was I guess you could say not for kids, but that's why it's on BRAVO at 10.

It was actually pretty funny one of the "fab 5" was liek whats ERA and that like leader guy who was in the pink goes EARNED RUN AVERAGE JACKASS! V-Tek went so out of his way to act straight liek he seemed like he wasn't even a good sport about it.

I dont think he had any crazy amounts of body hair either, at least not that I saw.

Alot of stuff I've heard on EEI has to do with certain broadcaster's religious views and their opposition to homosexuality in general. Typical professional athlete homophobia. Millar kept making offensive statements too, prancing around and holding his hands all "femmy" when he comes out after his makeover. I don't blame Millar or any of the sox, its not everyday that professional athletes are exposed to homosexuals, but they could be a little more worldly than that, if you ask me.

 

Overall, the episode was funny and had good intentions.

Queer Eye irritates me in general. They basically ask these guys to act overly gay, and I can't stand to watch it for more than a few minutes. I saw this episode only to watch the Sox, but even so, it was quite irritating. I personally think the show is awful.

I don't think they act the guys to act gay they jsut ask the guys to act a little cleaner. Ya know to grow out of the teenage slob phase and into a normal adult life the show dosen't bother me that much.
