Whats hurting the red sox the most

What do you think is there biggest problem right now!! There Bullpen there feilding, or curt schilling, They all hurt them right now!! I think they need to get a rnore realable bullpen and pay attention more in the feild and i cant wait for Schilling to get back <_>

I think it's our starting rotation. We really have yet to see any consistency out of anyone besides Clement. Most of the games we've lost lately have been by blowouts, because our starters have had rough beginnings. If the starters hold our opponents to about 3 or 4 runs or less and not put us in a deep hole to begin with, we have a very good shot to win.

Thank god grammar doesn't count. What's hurting us is our inconsistency. We can score 17 runs against the yankees, and the come back the next day and have 21 men LOB and score once. It's really crazy, and it happens with pitching too.

Yeah that too!! Arroyo has been doing good too he had one bad game and he shouldnt have lost the other game!! Miller he might get tough though 2 good games and 1 bad one!! so we mostly have to worry about the oldies like Wakefeild and Wells they have been Streaky having a good game then having a horrible game hopefully we can pull it off till schiling gets back than I think we should put wakefeild in the bullpen because he is a knuckle ball pitcher he could pitch alot~!!!!!!

Definitely the bullpen. We have no good, solid pitchers in there! Foulke isn't doing well with his 7. whatever ERA and Embree ... I won't get into that. I have to say that our only almost solid pitcher in there is Mantei.

I think we need one more set-up man. We don't necessarily have to go outside of the organization for one, because you can catch lightning in a bottle with a lot of AAA arms who can be effective for stretches.

(i told his ass that too and he gave me a dirty ass look and kep on walkin in the dugout.... *******) but jeter? great player, good guy. and quite easy on the eyes. but im biased on that cuz im female and i got a soft spot for him. damn i catch hell for that in my house.lol how sad....

 

but yea i think they need pitching. clement is prob the best we have right now. wells is washed up, wakefield is good. but you either are hitting him out of the park or you can't touch him. he has been decent with the exception of his last start. arroyo, i have never been a fan of the kid. but i do think he can be a great pitcher but he needs to learn to control his pitches. and he needs to stop retalliating! i think miller will serve us well. now schilling? i think the club depends on him too much. he doesnt make the team. they can win with or without him. if he comes back on top of his game then great. if not, then the team needs to get over it and work around it like they are now....

In 17 come from behind wins this season there has been timely hitting. In many of the losses there was not timely hitting. We live and die by Ortiz and Manny being there when we need them to hit in the guys on base. When they aren't hot we aren't hot.

Why all the panic when there's no reason for panic.

 

Last year, even as the Sox pitching staff led (or nearly led) the league in most statistical categories, everybody was freaking out like the sky was falling.

 

Deja Vu all over again. The Sox are just fine.

 

Though I do wish they'd have a shorter leash on pitchers who are struggling (on a per-game basis), and less attention to "what's the pitch count" with those who have things under control (again, on a per-game basis).

Clement is doing better than Pedro would I'm sorry but it's true. The only reason Pedro is pitching so amazing is because he's hurling to a pitcher and a number 8 the eequivalent of a number 9 in the AL and they try to play small ball on him because that's the game over there in the NL. Pedro would be doing no where near as good as he is if he were still with the Sox.
